Saturday 21st January
2012 - Dorset Premier League
Poole Borough (0) 0, Hamworthy Recreation (2) 3.
Despite an even opening 20 minutes,
Borough were undone in five first half minutes
during which Recreation scored twice and the
Hornets found themselves down to 10 men when Sean
Gallagher was red carded. However despite this
Borough battled well after the break to hold
their opponents, with Andy Knights making some
top class saves, and they only succumbed to a
final Hamworthy goal in the dying minutes.

2012 - Dorset Premier League
Wincanton Town (0) 5, Poole Borough (0) 0.
Facing an already difficult trip to a
Wincanton side who were defending an unbeaten
record since the start of the season, Borough
were further hampered as they found themselves
short of numbers and had to play the game with
only 10 men. And after holding their hosts 0-0 at
at half time, the Hornets went down to 9 men when
Stickland was forced off injured before finally
succumbing a 5-0 defeat

Saturday 10th December
2011 - Dorset Premier League
Merley Cobham Sports (0) 0, Poole Borough (2) 3.
Borough recorded their fourth away
victory of the season and looked to be cruising
at half time following goals from James Stickland
and Matt Grimason. But the home side put the
Hornets under pressure in the second half and it
took a fine penalty save from Andy Knights to
maintain the Hornets two goal lead before
Stickland sealed victory for Borough deep in
stoppage time.

2011 - Dorset Premier League
Portland United (2) 3, Poole Borough (0) 1.
Borough provided a much improved

Saturday 12th November
2011 - Dorset Premier League
Poole Borough (1) 2, Blandford United (0) 4.
Despite controlling much of the first
half where they deserved to turn around with more
than just a single goal lead, Borough were undone
in only fifteen second half minutes as the
visitors turned the tables on the Hornets with
three quick goals to change the complexion of the
game. And despite pulling a goal back in the
final minutes the home side were left with too
much to do in order to salvage a point.
